First Listen: Adam Lambert “Trespassing” CD Drops March 20th.

Adam Lambert Releases Trespassing on March 20th.Glambert fans are in for a real treat! As most of us know Adam Lambert is currently finishing up his second album now titled “Trespassing“. What we don’t know is how great this CD is going to be. With the lead single “Better Than I Know Myself” not even charting in the Billboard Top 100, Adam fans should be wondering if this release will even get much notice at all. “Trespassing” is set to be released on March 20th. So far no other big artist has a release date set on this date so this is a good thing for Adam. Could Madonna decide to release MDNA on the same date? That would not be good…

CD sales tend to be like movies, the first week is big then a decline in sales. What will we expect from “Trespassing”?

So far there are 7 tracks that we know of, and here they are:

“Trespassing” – The title track and is rumored to be like Queen’s “Another One Bites the Dust”

“Cuckoo” – This is supposed to be the HUGE Party song on the CD. From what we’ve read, it sounds like fun.

“Broken English” and “Outlaws of Love” – Are two more power ballads similar to “Better Than I Know Myself”.

“Underneath” – the darker side of Adam.

“Kickin In” and “Chokehold” – Two more party jams, with “Chokehold” being inspired by 90′s Depeche Mode.

Very Intriguing indeed. Well Glambert fans, we have two months to wait and see just how stunning this CD is going to be. We are totally looking forward to it.

Adam Lambert Jetlag+Vodka=blackout…

Adam Lambert ArrestedOh Dear…Adam Lambert the ‘American Idol’ star continues to get negative press, and this time it’s not so good. The star was arrested last week in Finland after having a Bitch Slap fest with boyfriend Finnish Reality star Sauli Koskinen.

It appears the two had a lovers spat at a Helsinki Bar and held for a few hours in the pokey. Adam then tweeted some weird message “Jetlag+Vodka=blackout. Us÷blackout=irrational confusion. jail+guilt+press=lesson learned. Sauli+Adam+hangover burgers= laughing bout it. :) ”

A couple of days later Adam tweeted that he was having Christmas in Finland with his boyfriends family and enjoying a Finnish Feast. So that leaves us wondering if all this is just publicity for the stars new single and album? The single “Better Than I Know Myself” was released to I-tunes and the song is just so-so. Maybe camp Lambert knows this and is trying to hype it up?

California Record Label Slaps Lawsuit On Adam Lambert

Adam Lambert performs with Queen 2011 EMA'sWHATAYA WANT FROM ME…Money apparently!!!

Colwel Platinum is attempting to release an album of songs recorded by Lambert called Beg For Mercy. They claim at the time of the recordings (before and during his time on Idol) the singer had an operating agreement with one of its divisions called Welsford Music Productions, and that competing on the show was in violation of this agreement.

Representatives for Lambert sent takedown notices to Amazon.com to stop selling Beg For Mercy. On October 14, the LP was removed from the site. Now Colwel Platinum is suing Lambert for making a false claim under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

Reps for Colwel said in a statement, “Upon information and belief, Lambert, through his authorized agent and representative, knowingly materially misrepresented to Amazon.com in the ‘takedown notice’ that Amazon’s promotion and sale of the Album infringe Lambert’s rights.”

The company is seeking declaratory relief that it owns a 50% publishing share of the recordings, that it has an unconditional right to promote and sell the recordings, that Lambert’s agreements and contracts with the company currently remain in effect.

Adam has yet to officially respond to the lawsuit, though he tweeted over the weekend: “Remember than in any dispute, reserve judgement until all the facts surface from ALL parties. Guilt and innocence come with a complete story.”

Well were not too surprised by this, wasn’t this the same record company that put out an unofficial album before his first album surfaced? Thoughts and Comments below!!

National Enquirer Chaz Bono Dead In 4 Years!

Now here’s a juicy story, the National Enquirer will be featuring Chaz Bono in an upcoming issue. They claim he will die within four years of purported health issues as a result of his sexual reassignment.

Other sources report that Mr. Bono will sue if the death prediction is not removed.

“This is absolutely outrageous, false, fabricated, and highly defamatory,” said Bono’s legal team. “The salacious and inflammatory headline and article were crafted for the malicious purpose of discriminating against our client’s gender and sexual orientation.”

The article summarizes Bono’s early death by means of “obesity, testosterone supplements, and high suicide rates” which Bono’s legal team have said is completely untrue, “outrageous,” and “offensive.”

Upon the tabloid’s appointment of a physician to confirm the possible death prediction, Bono’s legal team added: “He is not a physician and has no specialty in transgender health issues.”

But the National Enquirer persists: “We have invited Mr. Bono and/or his medical experts to respond to the opinions of our medical experts in the next issue of the National Enquirer.  The published opinions in the current edition are mostly focused on Mr. Bono’s serious weight issues, which if not addressed, could substantially shorten his life,” American Media Inc., said in a statement to E! News.  American Media Inc. is the parent company of the National Enquirer.

Bono’s legal team has demanded removal of the “smear campaign” and have said its contents are purely “character assassination.”

The National Enquirer added: “The testosterone treatments that Mr. Bono has taken are drugs that medical experts agree contain inherent risks for heart disease and liver dysfunction.  We only wish the best for Mr. Bono and hope that he embarks upon a health and diet program that includes proper nutrition and exercise for his own sake.”

OUR TAKE: Since Chaz has been voted off of Dancing with the Stars, we need to get this crap in the media for what??? I just don’t get it…what’s your take on this? Sound off below!

 

Lady Gaga New Single, New Remix CD, New DVD, Tour in 2012

The fifth single from GaGa’s multi-platinum album Born This Way is the fan favorite dance holy track “Marry The Night” which was produced by Mr. Fernando Garibay and it’s inspired by GaGa’s love for her husband-hometown, New York City. The single will be released on November 21st to coincide with GET THIS…

ANOTHER REMIX CD! Yes you heard it here, Born This Way – The Remix…This worked for her first release, but do we really need another Gaga Remix Album? Are we the only ones who thought that Born This Way, wasn’t really all that great? At least we will get another wild “Marry The Night” Video. Apparently Lady Gaga spent the weekend filming the video.

Also on November 21st we will get “The Moster’s Ball” DVD. This was a great concert, but seriously a DVD? Just tape it off HBO it’s basically the same thing…

Another tour in 2012, Now you really know that Lady Gaga is either out of her mind, or knows that her fame will slowly fade and in five years or so people will be saying Lady Who??

Victor Garber replaces Robert Wagner as Voice of Charlie

Victor Garber is the voice of Charlie on the reboot of Charlie's Angels on ABC.We previously reported that the only good thing going on the reboot of the 70′s icon show Charlies Angels was that Robert Wagner was cast as the voice of Charlie. Now we stand corrected as producer’s have already shown how to ruin a show by replacing Robert with Victor.

While we have nothing against Victor, in fact he is a busy man these days starring in “Web Therapy” airing on Showtime. This just shows that the powers that be have no clue what they want to do with a show. In fact they kill off the first angel on the show in the first episode.

The numbers are very unimpressive for a debut and it’s looking like ABC will have it’s first Cancellation on hand. Oh well it was fun while it lasted, or was it?

ABC Getting Backlash For Casting Chaz Bono, Carson Kressley on “Stars”

Chaz Bono Cast for Dancing with the Stars Season 13ABC has announced it’s cast for the upcoming Dancing With The Stars Season 13 extravaganza, and we here at dragqueendiaries.com  are thrilled that this season will feature transgendered Chaz Bono! We are also happy to report that Carson Kressley will also be apart of this ultra fabulous season. Now here is the real kicker…

The ABC message board are lighting up with people that are disgusted by the casting choices. WTF? is this really 2011? Are people that ignorant and stupid these days, to not see what a great choice Chaz is for the transgendered community?

One comment on the board really pisses me off. Because one homosexual is on the show, it’s immediately being called the “Gay Pride” season? Huh?

People couldn’t get enough of “Queer Eye” so they really shouldn’t have a problem with Carson, but they already have a problem with Chaz! I just don’t get it. That being said, it won’t surprise me when he get’s voted out early in the competition, because we all know that when it comes down to TALENT, it doesn’t matter (Does Adam Lambert ring a bell?)

So what if Chaz used to be Chastity she was still a human before becoming Chaz. Good Grief, this should be one helluva season with all this controversy!

So here is the rest of the cast for the 13th season opener set to begin on

Carson Kressley, Chaz Bono, Chynna Phillips, David Arquette, Elisabetta Canalis, Hope Solo, Nancy Grace, J.R. Martinez, Kristin Cavallari, Rob Kardashian, Ricki Lake, Ron Artest.

So no hot men this season unless you like Rob and David, and the woman are just so-so. IMO I think ABC was going for personalities this season not necessarily the beautiful people.

One last thought to all of you who are going to blast Chaz and Carson to say something like “Oh, I can’t watch this with my family” How do explain all the dry-humping they have done in the past? People chillax and enjoy the show!

Manila Luzon Backstage at the NewNowNext Awards 2011

Last nights opening act at the NewNowNext awards featured some of our favorite drag queens, from Rupaul’s Drag Race. The girls seem to have a fun time of it, as they performed to Backstreet Boys “Everybody”.

I’m not sure how I found this, I was digging on Youtube. But Manila Luzon has her own channel, and it is fierce to say the least. I’m not sure if this peek backstage was very flattering, but it does feature our favorite gals from Rupaul’s Drag Race Season 3.

One question where is Raja? Shangela was in a lead position? Hmm. The reunion is going to be one riot.

It’s been almost 2 years since Chastity / Chaz Bono underwent gender reassignment surgery. On May 10th, 2011 Chaz Bono will release a tell all book called Transitions: The Story of How I Became A Man.

Final Chaz Bono Thoughts

With all the hype of his new Documentary “Becoming Chaz” One has to feel happy for him. But it’s like celebrities to cash in on something of this magnitude. I’m sure a DVD will be on the way as well.

Gene Simmons on Adam Lambert

Gene Simmons, co-founder of KISS has a few thoughts and advice for American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert.  Hell, you could say Gene Simmons has few thoughts, period.

Simmons said Lambert is great and has a lot of talent if he wants to be the lead singer of the rock band QUEEN, or be on Broadway, but is not a true rock singer in the same vain as The Rolling Stones Mick Jagger.  But then again, who is anyway?  Just like there will never be another like Freddy Mercury, there will never be another Adam Lambert.

Gene’s advice to Adam is even more out there.  Simmons says Lambert should shut up about his sexual preferences unless they include farm animals,  and that we Americans and the rest of the world don’t really care what he does indoors.  This coming from a man who has been known to brag about having had sex with 46oo women.  Also,  could someone please remind Mr. Simmons that his A&E reality show is all about HIS indoor life??  We Americans never wanted to anything about this, but they still went ahead and did it anyway, right?  Right.

But aside from that, yes, we really don’t care about Adam’s sexual preferences and what he does in the privacy of his own bedroom.  We just care that he is a monsterous talent and has a bright career ahead of him.  Remind you of someone, Mr. Simmons??

And the ever modest Simmons had this to say about KISS performing with Adam on American Idol.  “You mean, how was it for HIM to perform with US?”  he said in a recent interview.  “Well, you just have to realize who the Governor  is and who the little puppy is.”   I don’t even want to know what the hell he meant by that.  Sounds like Mr. Simmons is a little irked that Rolling Stone Magazine said Adam Lambert upstaged KISS during the American Idol finale.  Hell, even Kriss Allen could have upstaged KISS.

WTF does that mean?? Sounds like he has spent too many years in makeup and it has seeped into his brain, because as we Americans all know, KISS is so relevant to rock music today, that they are getting ready to release their first studio album in 11 years, and Mr. Simmons is wrapping up a fourth season of his crappy A&E show with his family.
