Absolutely Fabulous is Hilarious in 3 part run 2011

Absolutely Fabulous Reunion Episode 2011It’s been 20 years since Absolutely Fabulous first aired in Britain. The show originally aired three series from 1992-1995. The Pet Shop Boys paid tribute to the show with the song of the same name in 1994. The show finale was aired in 1996.

Absolutely Fabulous was revived in 2001-2003 with two additional series. Now almost 20 years later British viewers were treated to the first of three additional episodes.

The first of the three new episodes titled “Identity” was written by Jennifer Saunders. After watching the new episode it’s as time has stood still. It’s still funny and smart. Jennifer has had plans for a Movie for a long time, and it looks like she maybe in the process of writing it.

We don’t know how long this will last, but as of now you can watch the leaked first episode below:

If this is pulled which I suspect it will, at least we got in a good laugh or two. What do you think, are you glad Ab Fab is back?

Rupaul’s Drag Race Season 4 Full Trailer, Get Ready for a Big Bang!

Rupauls' Drag Race Season 4Logo’s Reality hit Rupaul’s Drag Race Season 4 will again grace the small screen on January 30th. 2012. The new trailer for the show appears to have some steep competition. Attitudes will be tested, wigs will fly, and the guest stars look to be amazing.

Rupaul’s Drag Race first appeared on Logo Feb. 2, 2009. It has built a steady audience and following, and is now the most watched show on the MTV Sister channel. What can we expect this year? Well the Drag Queen who Rupaul deems the next superstar will earn 100 Grand! That’s quite an increase from the first season of drag race. Back then the top prize was a mere 25k.

So bigger money, some bigger gals, bigger production, and bigger stars…hmmm let’s hope all these improvements don’t ruin the season 4 show.

Are you looking forward to Rupaul’s Drag Race? Watch the Season 4 Trailer below!

Meet The Sickening Cast of ‘Rupaul’s Drag Race’ Season 4

Rupaul's Drag Race Season 4 Returns January 2012

Rupaul’s Drag Race Season 4 January 2012!

For the past three years we have been gaging on Rupaul’s Drag Race, and Season 4 is going to be stunning and fierce. Rupaul must have got a budget increase, as it seems the trailer for season 4 is slick and well produced!

Rupaul’s Drag Race was green lit in May of 2008. The show first aired on February 2 2009, and every season has increased it’s fan base and audience. Each season of Rupaul’s Drag Race has had more episodes with season 3 finishing with 18. The show as most of you know, is a reality series that finds the next Drag Queen Superstar. The past 3 winners have been BeBe Benet, Tyra Sanchez, and last seasons winner Raja. Although we loved Raja, we still think Manila should have won but with such a great season who can complain am I right?

Rupaul’s Drag Race Season 4 is slated to begin in January of 2012. Last week Logo released a two minute teaser and two minute teasers to introduce you to the gals. The teaser is slick and set in a sci-fi theme, and really is a great test to how far the show has come. The dragulator was even given a little bit of love!

Let’s talk about the season 4 contestants shall we? Well their is no doubt going to be comparisons going on now that we have 3 seasons in the bag. But we will get there when we get there k hunty’s? One thing to note Chicago, IL is well represented!

Starting off we have The Princess from Chicago, IL. She strikes me as a strong contender although I have to admit (Raven) comes to mind immediately. Then we have Jiggly Caliente who hails from NYC and looks to be the next big gal that claims she’s a loud crazy bitch (and who isn’t these days?)

Next up is Willam from the teaser clip it will be Season 4′s comedian somewhat like Pandora but maybe with a little more style, this funny drag comes to us from sunny LA. Next is Phi Phi O’hara from Chicago, IL. I guess the best way to describe Phi Phi is calm and serious. Latrice Royale is next from Miami and she’s a big old gal and one to watch out for. Has great personality.

Dida Ritz also from Chicago strikes us as another to watch. Great drag queen make up, and poise as well! Chad Michaels from San Diego, CA. and possibly one of the most famous of the Queens. She’s known for her flawless Cher impersonations and has even been in shows from Las Vegas, to London. Hmmm…a dead ringer for Cher? This could really be a serious contender.

Kenya Michaels and Madame Laqueer are this years PR girls and neither strike me to have the moxie that Yara and Alexis had. This year we have two Florida gals Alisa Summers from Tampa, and Lashauwn Beyond (Fort Lauderdale)

We have Milan for NYC, and our pick to win it all (we know it’s dangerous to do so) is Sharon Needles from Pittsburgh, PA. Her little two minute clip is everything that Drag should be, Fun, Camp, Dark, Wierd and just downright creative. Let’s see what this bitch can do!

So there ya go. Rupaul’s Drag Race Season 4 is going to be a knockdown finish to the end to early to call, but our pick is in. So who are you most excited about so far? Do you think we will have another Heather’s/Boogers group? Chime it in below!

Will you be watching the 8th season of Weeds?

My Transsexual Summer Coming To US Television?

My Transsexual Summer, UK's first Doc/Reality Show based on Transgendered. On channel 4 UK this past summer a reality TV doc show called “My Transsexual Summer” aired. How this great show got past us we’ll never know.

The show explores what it’s like to change gender. No cliches just the true grit of what it’s like to be transgendered. A great review on the Guardian.co.uk site was posted, which prompted us to look into it a little further.

Woah! what a great concept for TV. A Big Brotherish type setting with observation style footage. The show follows seven participants ranging in age and gender. In the first episode they play a transgendered drinking game. It’s silly but fun.

Helen Boyd the show consultant and Author of “My Husband Betty” says. It’s also the first major piece of trans-themed output since Channel 4 signed a Memorandum of Understanding with my campaign group, Trans Media Watch. The document suggests treating trans people with accuracy, dignity and respect. Pretty radical, huh? Apparently, I’ve been “a pain in the arse” to work with. Good. I’d be astonished if a team of all-white film-makers, runners, producers and researchers felt they had a God-given right to make TV about ethnic minority issues. Nothing about us without us, as they say.

Wow, so if a program like this can exist in the UK. Why they heck have they not brought it to the US yet? Maybe the producer’s of Big Brother should consider putting a Transgendered person on it. Maybe then the we can all learn a thing or two.

Would you watch a show like this in America?

Kurt Hummel to lose virginity on tonight’s GLEE episode!

Chris Colfer's Glee Character Kurt to Lose Virginity on Glee.Just think three short years ago they were just newbs on a tv show that may or may not have any chance in hell staying on the air. Now we are into season three and Kurt is going to do the nasty. According to Billboard.com Chris Colfer the  adorable actor that plays Kurt is going to be busy with Darrin Criss. Tonight’s episode is called “The First Time”.

Colfer told Billboard,

“It covers a very sensitive topic, and I think the show is infamous for handling sensitive topics with care. When I found out the concept for “The First Time,” I remember Ryan (Murphy, the show’s creator and main writer) came up to Darren and I and told us what was going on, Darren and I looked at each other with huge, wide eyes and went “what, that’s going to happen?!” We got a little scared when we first found out, but when we got the script of course it was fine. Everything that I thought would scare me and make me cringe was sweet and emotional.”

“We get negative reactions if I wear an orange scarf with white pants! So I’m sure there will be some negative feedback, there always is no matter what the episode is about. I think it’s a huge deal that this is the first time something like this has been shown on television, but I think it’s handled so delicately and sweetly that I don’t think it will have quite the shock factor that people are thinking. (Pauses) I mean, I could be wrong. I haven’t seen it yet!”

So do you think people are going to freak out over this? Are we talking as big of a tv scandal as when Ellen announced she’s gay on her show?

I think not, What’s say you? Chime in below!

Sorry Charlie! ABC Cancels “Charlie’s Angels”

Charlies Angels get the Ax. ABC CancelsSay goodbye to another freshman show. “Charlie’s Angels” has been officially cancelled. After just 4 episodes and declining ratings the show will now join NBC’s “The Playboy Club” and “Free Agents” in the cancel bin.

So why did this show get axed so fast? Let’s get into the numbers…

The series, which starred Minka Kelly, Annie Ilonzeh and Rachael Taylor as three young female detectives in Miami, had floundered in the ratings, though it posted an 8 percent increase in the all-important adults 18-49 demographic for its most recent episode on Thursday. Its September 22 premiere posted a lukewarm 2.1/6 in the demo and generally went downhill from there, plunging 20 percent for its October 7 episode to a 1.2/4.

So even with the little lift in ratings, ABC doesn’t have enough confidence to continue. OK now could they have just moved “No Ordinary Family” to that time spot? Could they have kept “Brothers and Sisters”? Unfortunately we will never know.

ABC will air the rest of the episodes, and likely will see a slight gain in ratings, now that this news has surfaced.

Now we can focus on the next ABC premiere “Once Upon A Time”, this show looks promising, but it’s not on a great night and it premieres before two of the networks failing shows “Desperate Housewives” and “Pan Am”.

So we say goodbye to the Angels, will you miss them?

BBC Orders 2nd Series “Come Fly With Me” Lucas Walliams Controversial Hit

David Walliams and Matt Lucas on BBC's Hit Comedy "Come Fly With Me"Over the weekend I was flipping through the on-demand channels and came across BBC America. A show called “Come Fly With Me” immediately caught my attention. After watching the first episode I had to watch the rest. BBC shows come in 6 episode formats and are called series unlike American shows that are called seasons. So was “Come Fly With Me” worth the watch…Hell Yes!

“Come Fly With Me” is a mockumentary about the lives and passengers of 3 different airlines. The shows main spoof is “Airline” and was surprisingly funny. What sets this show apart from our normal comedies is the cast! Matt Lucas and David Walliams play all the main characters and my immediate favorites were Melody and Keeley.

Melody and Keeley are two of the funniest drag queen characters since Too Wong Foo. The two dim-wits play check in gals and they could be the nicest yet rudest customer service reps to portray the little screen.

“Come Fly With Me” started last Christmas to the tune of 12.4 million viewers. Now that it has been seen on BBC America the numbers will be a little higher.

After watching the episodes I found out that there will be a series 2 of “Come Fly With Me”. So that’s why I’m recommending you check the show out. No word when the series 2 will debut, but it could be in December 2011.

Check out the flylo check in girls below, it’s surely to crack you up!
