Britney Spears Femme Fatale
It’s been just 2 days since the release of Britney Spears Femme Fatale CD, and fans from around the world are chiming in. Today FemmeFatalesPerfect has been a top trend on the Twitter network. So with this much buzz about the CD we thought we’d share are incite and give Britney Spears the DQD Music Review.
Femme Fatale is Britney’s 7th studio album, and for most of us who have moved on to become fans of other artist’s like Lady Gaga, it should come as no surprise to any of us, that Britney has still got staying power.
In our opinion the CD is a throwback to the late 90′s club sound. It has a bump and grind electro groove vibe to it, apparent from it’s lead of single “Hold It Against Me”. You might remember the Madonna song “What It Feels Like For A Girl” and that should give you a clearer understanding to what Femme Fatale has to offer.
It’s lead off track “Till The World Ends” and is now the official second single for release is a catch synth romp that deserves to be danced to. While not all songs on this CD have the pace set by the first two singles, Femme Fatale is maybe the second best Brit CD to be released. You just can’t ignore her first release.
What was amusing to us was a Twitter response from Lady Gaga herself saying to the effect that her monsters will never be bashing Britney, and that she wants Brit too succeed. This will be probably be OK till Lady Gaga, releases her “Born This Way” CD.
Britney Spears Femme Fatale Tracklisting:
“Till The World Ends” – A Catchy Romp with Ke$ha at the writing helm.
“Hold It Against Me” – Infectious Dance Tune
“Inside Out” – A mid tempo song, and one of the best lyrics
“I Wanna Go” – More gloss, just a filler on the CD.
“How I Roll” – Should be a single.
“(Drop Dead) Beautiful [Featuring Sabi]” – Infectious beat and a great chorus.
“Big Fat Bass” – Produced with Will.I.Am if you love the Black Eyed Peas, you’ll dig this.
“Trouble For Me” – An R&B track with a dirty electro beat thrown in.
“Trip To Your Heart” – Electro ballad (snoozy)
“Gasoline” – Another fun Mid Tempo song.
“Criminal” - Another Snooze Ballad. We don’t like this song, but many of you Britney fans will love it.
Up N Down, He About To Loose Me, Selfish, and Don’t Keep Me Waiting are all Bonus Tracks available on the Deluxe Version.
The extra 4 songs are worth it, so we would recommend the deluxe version. Britney Spears Femme Fatale may not wow everyone, but for pop dance music, it’s worth a buy.
