It’s been 20 years since Absolutely Fabulous first aired in Britain. The show originally aired three series from 1992-1995. The Pet Shop Boys paid tribute to the show with the song of the same name in 1994. The show finale was aired in 1996.

Absolutely Fabulous was revived in 2001-2003 with two additional series. Now almost 20 years later British viewers were treated to the first of three additional episodes.

The first of the three new episodes titled “Identity” was written by Jennifer Saunders. After watching the new episode it’s as time has stood still. It’s still funny and smart. Jennifer has had plans for a Movie for a long time, and it looks like she maybe in the process of writing it.
