Don’t RuPaulogize! RuPaul’s Drag Race Has A New Superstar!

RuPaul's Drag Race Season 4 The Final 3Condragulations, and the winner is…keep reading Hunties!

Last night we witnessed Herstory by the most epic reunion of RuPaul’s Drag Race.

Season 4 of  RuPaul’s Drag Race will go down in TV history as one of the biggest shows on the Logo TV channel.  Michelle Visage narrated the opening of the show and in grand fashion we were treated to RuPaul on the big screen from the supposed set of his new movie.  He teased the audience into thinking that he was going to host the show via satellite. The screen blipped and scratched then the curtain went up.

RuPaul came out in the most gorgeous sequined red gown that had the audience gagging.  For the first time in RuPaul’s Drag Race history the reunion show was filmed in front of a live audience.  Many of the drag queen contestants had their family and loved ones into the audience, which I thought was a great touch.  In true drag race fashion we were treated to the usual spectacle gags and memorable one liner’s.

We got to see the first four sashayed contestants including “The Princess” who tried to steal the show and miserably failed.

The show had its first controversy in Willam, the queen got booted off the show because RuPaul said he broke the rules.  Now he might ask what role the break, it wasn’t as bad as everyone thought and believe me the rumors were swirling. Willam just had his boyfriend visit him in the hotel.  So to all you season five hopefuls of the keep your man at home!

Miss congeniality was awarded to Latrice Muthafuckin Royale .  We got to find out that Drag U is returning to television in a revamped version in June. This is great news because last season’s Drag U was a big snooze.  What I most wanted to know, and they didn’t answer was when RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars was going to air. The show teased on the side bar that it would air soon, and my guess is that it won’t air till Drag U Season 3 has aired.

Chad Michaels was first to be interviewed and his professionalism was awe inspiring.  Phi Phi O’hara was interviewed and I can believe a word out of her mouth. She did tell us though that she knew the show made alot of fans that don’t like her. We got to see her mom in the audience and I was almost touched by his fake tears…Almost!  RuPaul also let us know that joining the faculty of Drag U was Latrice Royale. This is a great choice and not that big of a surprise.

And the winner is…  Sharon Needles! Remember folks dragqueendiaires.com called this in January and when it was announced me and my husband leaped off the couch in gleeful joy.

So all you fans of drag race what was your favorite moment last night?  Was it Willam’s confession, was it the new catch phrase RuPaulogize, or was it Sharon snatching the crown?

For me it was all that and more. Season 5 of RuPaul’s Drag Race is looking to be bigger and better. Now will January hurry the fuck up and get here?
