"Desolation Peak" is a watercolor painting by Sue Jimenez. The painting features the starkness of the landscape, with a snow capped mountain in the distance and shades of blue in the sky. When I painted this, it was just from my imagination. Only later did I learn there was "Desolation Peak" in Washington (pure coincidence!)
